8th Master Sprint Games - 2nd day

(photo P.Bernardi)The second-day races of the Sprint Games in Baselga di Pinè developed in a slight snow. Ladies and Men from 55 to 30 age groups concluded their effort, globally with success, and AG65-60 Ladies and Men raced their first two distances.

Many good results where obtained. Among them, the fastest Man in the 500m distance was Ivar Njos, NOR, AG50, with 38”47 that is also the new IMSSC record in AG50, followed by Bart Seffinga, NED, AG35, who obtained 38”56 and Eduard Baev, RUS, AG45, who obtained 39”09. In the 1,000m distance, the best time, 1’17”18, was obtained again by Seffinga. The fastest Lady of all was Kaska Rogulska, NED, AG45, who obtained 44”04, followed by Linda Van Oosten, NED, AG35, with 44”74 and Marloes Westerhof, NED, AG30, with 44”78. In the 1,000m distance, the best lady time was that scored by Rogulska: 1’28”12. The rest of the results and the points obtained by the athletes concluding their competions are herewith attached. Tomorrow morning races will start at 10:00.
