Despite COVID-19, the Masters Sprint Games 2022 were held on 29 and 30 January 2022 in the Max Aicher Arena in Inzell. This world championship sprint for masters was a great success. Many masters were very happy that a big international championship was organized, in the beautiful village of Inzell and in a beautiful ice stadium.
This championship was perfectly organized by Hubert Kreutz, Heike Kogler and Romina Eggert with the support of an experienced jury team. Unfortunately, due to COVID-’19, it was not possible to organize a welcome event and a closing banquet, but the atmosphere among the masters was supreme.
The number of participants was 114, of which 36 were women and 78 men from 12 different countries. A real world championship.
All results can be found in attached competition protocol.
