48th IMSSC Session – minutes

The 48th IMSSC Session, held online May 31–June 1, 2025, addressed a broad agenda including approval of previous minutes, review of action items, member changes, and adoption of the 2024/25 records list. Key discussions covered evaluations of major 2025 events, quota allocations for the 2025/26 Allround and Sprint Games, and site considerations for future competitions.

Notable decisions included approving Poland for MIST2026 and France for MIST2027, introducing a €10 registration fee from 2025/26, updating competition rules to align with ISU regulations, and forming committees for rule reviews and document updates. Financial concerns were noted, with near-zero balance pending ISU contributions, and sponsorship opportunities explored.

Several leadership changes were confirmed, including Keith Wright as VP-Short Track. Numerous action items were assigned, focusing on event planning, governance updates, and strategic cooperation with the ISU.
