We can now proudly present complete statistics of all Masters Games from the 1991/1992 season until the 2014/2015 season. The Masters Games were the initial events that led to the establishment of the ISSSC (International Seniors Speed Skating Committee) which later became the IMSSC (International Masters Speed Skating Commitee). Thanks to Magne Teigen (NOR), ISU Statistician, who took the intiative last year to compile these statistics, and who has done all the basic work. I – as the IMSSC Statistician – have contributed with extensive checking and supplementary information.
The statistics are divided in four parts:
We do hope that these statistics will be an appreciated source of information about the history of the Masters movement and the IMSSC. The statistics will be updated annually.
However, in spite of extensive checking we know that there is information missing in these statistics, and that there may be errors. We therefore ask everyone who possesses additional information, and everyone who detects errors or inaccuracies, to report back to me, the IMSSC Statistician, svensven@online.no
