7th Master Sprint Games – Kolomna/RUS, Mar.21st and 22nd 2016

-12°C at Friday, rain in the morning and +5°C by the beginning of a sprint competition on Saturday 1 p.m. with nearly 110 participants from 10 Countries. Fortunately there is in Inzell a fantastic Speed-Skating-Arena with optimal air- and ice conditions, so the skaters can always have good possibilities to break PB or higher records. Unfortunately was the only ice preparation on the 1st day after the quartet starts about 500 m. Because  of that many starters was astonished… But it was an unusual day with lot of fast and exciting races and with our special hero in the middle of us, in the middle of the Competition: With Ivan Uzubkin from Russia on his 85th birthday here. After the short Birthday ceremony Ivan starts successful on the 1000 m – Congratulations! But he promised too, to participate on the Sprintgames in Inzell 2017 – Your welcome, Ivan!
