8th Master Sprint Games – 2nd day

11th Masters’ LONG DISTANCE RACES

Tomorrow, Monday, March 24th, the 11th Masters’ International Speed Skating LONG DISTANCE RACES will be organized in Heerenveen. The start list, time schedule, more information and results you can find at www.schaatscircuit.nl.

Please register before the competition on time tomorrow:

10K: before 13.00h
5K: before 13.00h
3K: before 17.00h

at the competition leader in front of the jury room.

Warm up time 5/10K: 13.30h

Start competition: 14.30h

Expected warm up time 3K: 17.30h

Many good results where obtained. Among them, the fastest Man in the 500m distance was Ivar Njos, NOR, AG50, with 38”47 that is also the new IMSSC record in AG50, followed by Bart Seffinga, NED, AG35, who obtained 38”56 and Eduard Baev, RUS, AG45, who obtained 39”09. In the 1,000m distance, the best time, 1’17”18, was obtained again by Seffinga. The fastest Lady of all was Kaska Rogulska, NED, AG45, who obtained 44”04, followed by Linda Van Oosten, NED, AG35, with 44”74 and Marloes Westerhof, NED, AG30, with 44”78. In the 1,000m distance, the best lady time was that scored by Rogulska: 1’28”12. The rest of the results and the points obtained by the athletes concluding their competions are herewith attached. Tomorrow morning races will start at 10:00.
