9th Masters’ Revival – 1st day results

On Saturday 6th, 2014, the first day of the historical 9^th Masters’ Revival in Baselga di Pinè – Italy was held, with the participation of a good number of foreign athletes, of whom four were coming from Australia, one from Switzerland and one from Norway. As due, all Italian “old” Masters’ of great experience and renown were present – as well as some “new” ones, who were welcomed with particular pleasure, since contributing to widen the Italian movement. During the first day, the best times in 500m, 1,000m, 3,000m and 5,000m were obtained by A.Harbitz (NOR), M.Forcone (ITA), A.Harbitz (NOR) and B.Gaillard (SWI), respectively. The night before the beginning of the competition, a welcoming dinner (with good Italian food, wines and grappa) warmed the participants’ hearts. During it, a special price was awarded to the Australian Michael King, for his “Italian passion”, since returning to the Masters’ Revival for the second time in a row. The 1st day results follow:
