10th Masters’ Revival

On February 20th and 21st the 10th Masters’ Revival was held in Baselga di Pinè (Trento, Italy), in a beautiful Italian sun. More skaters than usual took part in it, coming from Australia, Switzerland, Norway, Russia, Finland, Spain and the United Kingdom. More athletes were also part of the Italian Master team, which is particularly substancial this year. Many of the foreign and Italian athletes present at the Masters’ Revival are spending the whole week in the village, training in view of the important Masters’ Sprint Games of next week. A pleasant dinner with good Italian food opened the two-days competion, wich was closed by a cheerful victory ceremony, with medals for all participants and plaques for the athletes scoring the best times in each distance skated.
