On September 21 2017, we lost a man, Hidekazu \u201cI-Chan\u201d Aizawa, who led Japan Masters Speed Skating members to International games.\u00a0 He was the first person who I spoke about Masters Speed Skating 9 years ago.\u00a0\u00a0 Since then, 97 Japanese skaters have participated in International games of 10 cities in 6 nations.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He himself was one of the first Japanese Masters Speed Skaters who skated in Thialf 2010.\u00a0 He also participated in SLC in 2013, that was his last race. \u00a0He was with us in Ginza this April, drinking together and talking about next trip to Italy and Moscow.\u00a0 It is very sad day today for Masters Speed Skating.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
