Mongolian Skating Masters Federation just organized the Championship of State Sprint Speed Skating and Short tracking competition among the masters on February 1st, 2025 in the Khandgait ice rink, Ulaanbaatar successfully. Since Mongolian skating masters united in 2015, it has been the 8th competition for them. 38 athletes competed in the 500m and 1000m in the Sprint game and 19 athletes took part in the 500m and 1000m in the short tracking game too. It was -18 Celsius in a day and -25 Celsius at night. I hope all skating athletes and expertise from different countries understand Mongolia has harsh weather in winter and even though the ice is hard for the athletes to skate, they have already gotten used to skating on the ice. And finally, I know they love to meet each other on the ice during the nice snowy time. In addition to that, after the competition on that day, our master skating athletes just celebrated their 10th anniversary.
