Good morning, everyone.
As a new president of International Masters Speed Skating Committee, I am very happy to welcome all of you in Milwaukee, for the16th annual International Masters Sprint Games, sanctioned by ISU. This is 2nd time since 2010. I was not here that time but they say it was 81 participants. We have over 100 participants from 7 countries in this tough economic situation and political circumstance. We have Canada, Germany, Mongol, Netherlands, Norway, and Japan, against USA. Happy to have Olympians back to the international competition on ice. Welcome to all.
On behalf of IMSSC, IMSSC members, all of participants and supporters, plus people watching live action, I am very thankful and grateful for Milwaukee Organization, Referees, starters and all people who belong to this event. Thank you for making this possible and preparing this excellent wonderful stage. Ice is very fast! Everyone, please be careful because of no speed limit. Safety is very important. Please be safe and enjoy your precious time this weekend. The 16th annual International Masters Sprint Games now officially begin.
