Hi Everyone
Planning has started for MIST 2027 in Lyon for what will be a fantastic event. New Rules have been implemented for the competition, one rule is that a racing day will last no longer than 8 hrs. This means that the entry will be restricted to a maximum of 135 skaters. It is also expected that there will be great interest in the competition in Western Europe, so an entry system has to be implemented.
Discussions have been held between the organisers and the IMSSC and a decision has been made to give all skaters who supported the MIST Games in Poland a pre-entry to this Competition. The entry will then go Open to all skaters from 1st August 2026. Entry will close when the maximum entry number of skaters has been reached.
This decision has not been made lightly but we feel that it is important to ensure skaters who have supported MIST worldwide have priority entry
The entry system will be as below
15.06.2026 – Pre Registration Opens to all who competed in Bialystok (only these entries will be accepted)
15.07.2026 – Pre Registration closes
31.07.2026 – Announcement for MIST Games Lyon 2027 will be made public on the IMSSC Website
01.08.2026 – Open entry for MIST 2027 will go live
Competition entry closed when maximum entry level reached
