Exciting final Dutch Masters Cup 2025-2026

Never before has the final of the Dutch Master Cup for both men and women been so exciting until the end. To win, everyone had to skate fast on the final evening, Saturday 20 December 2025 in the Elfstedenhal in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.

However, due to her absence in DMC-I, she was unable to win the Dutch Masters Cup. With a total of 250 points, five points less than winner Henriëtte, she achieved second place in the final standings.

Kaska Rogulska (L55) narrowly reached the podium with a total of 175.5 points, with Lettie Zwanenburg (L65) close behind her. Lettie achieved 175 points in the final ranking. Number five in the final standings, Marlies de Jong (L60) was also close to the podium with 169 points.

Another win for strong Kees Verdouw

After Arjan’s 1500m, clocked in a time of 1:59.82 (97.55% of the WR of 1:56.89), there was another embrace between the men with “success” and Kees was allowed to go to the start of his 3K. He skated a great time with 5:31.46 and for a moment he also thought he had improved the world record. But it turned out to be 13/100ths above this world record! This was enough for the win of the evening and with a total of 330 points, Kees became also the winner in the final classification.

Arjan Elferink had accept his second place of both the evening and in the final classification. He followed Kees with a total of 300 points.

The number three of the evening, Bart Seffinga (M45), also became number three in the final standings with a total of 225 points. Fourth place in the final ranking was Jeroen Schoppink (M40) with 149.5 points. And fifth place was for Jan Boelen (M80), with a total of 138 points.
