# when can we skate in Nagano?
The 16th Annual International Masters Games is over now. It was an unforgettable MSG! On behalf of all the participants, I would like to sincerely thank the Milwaukee organizers, referees, starters, and everyone involved in making this event a success. I especially want to thank Carolyn Spiewak and Nathan Miller from the bottom of my heart for your hard work preparation to accomplishment of this event. Thanks also to the Petit Ice Center, over 100 skaters were able to perform their best on the best stage. Amazingly, Gerdien Verweij (F60), Barb Johnson (F70), Judith Smouter (F75), and Victor Van den Hoff (M70) set new Masters records.
As announced at Sunday’s banquet, the dates for the 2026 MSG and 2026 MAG have been set with the MSG to be held in Innsbruck (AUT) on the weekend of January 24-25 and the MAG in Inzell (GER) on January 30-31 and February 1. Please start making your travel plans now.
Finally, as IMSSC President, I would like to thank all the participants and supporters who traveled from far away, from other states, and from other countries. Without your support, this event would not have been possible. In addition, I must also express my gratitude to Mark Nolan, the secretary of IMSSC and a friend of mine. Thank you all for your presence.
See you all in 2026.
