24th Masters’ Allround Games – 1st day

Davos 2006The 14th Davos Meeting, previously foreseen at Jan.3rd and 4th 2014, is now re-scheduled on Jan.4th and 5th 2014. This competition has a special charm, skating on natural ice in a beautiful spot of the Swiss Alps…don’t miss this unique opportunity for an unforgettable competition. There are no words for explaining you the charm of the Davos competition: you have to come and see! The outdoor of 18.000 square meters of natural ice is your first impact with this wonderful venue; perfect ice preparation and continuous maintenance give you the joy to skate over one of the famous tracks of the world!

A very nice reception was held last night at the Olympic Oval with the presence of the 143 Masters (115 Men and 28 Ladies) coming from 13 nations (1x AUS, 28x CAN, 7x FIN, 8x GER, 5x ITA, 3x KAZ, 3x JPN, 39x NED, 32x NOR, 1x ROU, 1xRUS, 1x SWE, 14x USA). A special mention to the Canadian 87 years old, Roy Whitney, which is the competition’s oldest partecipant that posted a time of 1.33.92 in the 500m in the M85 age group !!!
