Great opportunity for the skaters that will participate to the Masters’ Allround Games in Fort St.John/CAN on March 10th-12th 2017 !!! In fact there is the possibility to compete just few days after also in the Oval Finale at the Olympic Oval in Calgary/CAN that will be held on March 16th-19th 2017. The Olympic Oval will be allowing 20 Masters skaters, that have not achieved the Oval Finale Time Standards, entry into the Olympic Oval Finale.
This opportunity is ONLY for Masters skaters who are competing in the Masters World Games in Fort St John (March 10th-12th, 2017), as it is the same weekend as Oval Grand Prix which is open to all Masters. Starting at 10:00 MST, Thursday, December 15th, 2016 a letter requesting an entry position into Finale will be accepted and must be emailed to gplanert@ucalgary.ca and cc’d to oval@ucalgary.ca. Acceptance will be on a first come, first serve basis and a waiting list will also be created for those not making the first 20.
The first 20 will receive an official entry form and it must be completed and paid in full prior to December 21st, 2016. Those spots not claimed and paid for will be opened to the wait list, and again this will be based on when the request was received. Please note that entries sent in prior to December 15th, 2016 – 10:00 MST will not be accepted.
